Call Security!!!!

The bricks were delivered today and I had to see them.  So Ben and I went over there in the dark at 7.30pm with our new LED torch from KMart.  The fence is never locked properly so we boldly went into the site.
It was so exciting to see the bricks and yes, they are the right ones.
The plumber had been there all day, so we checked out all the gas and water points to make sure everything was  correctly located.
We were nearly leaving when the security guy, Kassim,  turns up.  Ben told him straight away that it was our house and we weren't there to steal anything.  I thought he was going to kick us out but he was really nice.
He said it wasn't a problem it's just that he has to record our car registration.  Ben told him we were concerned that the windows would get stolen since they were still lying there uninstalled.  Well he re assured us that he is there patrolling the area all night and that they are actually working longer shifts due to school holidays.
Nice to know.  Just hope those windows get installed tomorrow.

  3. Please pop by Tonia, I will be there around 1pm, our friends are nearly finished with their Wisdom Home and they want us to see it. It's on Spring Street, so I"ll be around there anyway. Just wish this rain would stop for a while.

  5. Tonia, thanks for going past. You must visit when it's all done. Yeah, I know it does look really long. It's 32squares all up I think.

  7. Hi Thigee, went by our block yesterday afternoon and had a look at your bricks and windows.

Wow what a sight! I'm really hoping to get our build started now. We still need our bank to give us the commencement letter that I can give to Metricon

  8. Great Skypiea, sorry I was'nt there to offer you some tea and biscuits. Next time.
Good luck with your start date. Can be so frustrating when we're waiting for all the paperwork to be finalised. Once they get started, it goes pretty quick.
